NemSiS Powerline Lite

NemSiS Powerline Lite is a Network Management System (NMS) for HomePlug devices. It is targeted for industrial users operating HomePlug based networks such as: hotels, schools, trade shows, Internet distribution, etc. NemSiS Powerline Lite provides fault, configuration, and performance management functions.

NemSiS Powerline Lite consists of two separate programs: NemSiS Powerline Agent a SNMP Proxy Agent for HomePlug devices   NemSiS Powerline NMS a GUI based NMS which uses the agent Look at the screenshots or download now.

Agent Features

• Follows SNMP standards so integrates with any SNMP standards based manager (e.g. HP OpenView).
• Works with devices that follow the HomePlug V1.0 standard (Ethernet and USB).
• Discovers HomePlug networks and devices dynamically.
• Uses SNMP traps for real-time monitoring and notifications.
• Monitors real-time availability of HomePlug devices sending SNMP traps on status changes.
• Monitors powerline communications link quality between HomePlug devices sending SNMP traps when the link quality changes.
• Provides secure management of HomePlug network and device passwords.
• Can run as a Windows XP/2000/NT service or from a command-line application.
