In interview, we will very simply ask you what you wish to do. Why? Because we want to know your professional project in order to define with you the outline of your career at AViSTO for the years to come. The idea is to plan ahead beyond a first project.

Once in the company, we will do a regular reviews as part of a project monitoring, annual reviews, or informally around a meal or the coffee machine. This proximity works all the better that all our business managers have a technical background, and for the most part they themselves worked as a consultant.

As one of our business managers says: “The AViSTO management team all share a technical background. We have had paths often similar to those of our engineers, it allows us to better guide them. We understand their desires because we have been there before them. The company is human-sized, we can provide individual follow-up. I personally know all my engineers, which is much easier.

Internal evolution

Need inspiration to define your career path at AViSTO? To simplify, four paths come back frequently:



The engineer, after spending several years working on various projects, has the necessary technical know-how to design software architectures.


The engineer, project after project, has mastered a technology and has used it across several industries. As an expert, he is now able to solve complex technical issues.


The engineer, after several successful projects, wishes to manage a team. He/she defines workloads, follows project evolution and frequently communicate with his/her customer.


After a technical path, the engineer feels he is attracted by business relationships and likes to set up solutions to address customer needs. Inside AVISTO, he identifies the engineers that will ensure the success of the projects he/she is responsible for, or when needed, he/she will recruit them. He/she takes care of engineers’ career development and eventually may become Technical Center Manager.

To remain at the forefront of technology, AViSTO continuously invests in the training of its staff members.
In the same way, the evolution towards new managerial responsibilities can be prepared by following a dedicated course.

At least once a year, during the annual review you will do with your business manager, you will discuss together the skills you want to develop and the conditions to do it.
